Summer Dance Intensive options are available during two weeks in July for all ages and levels. Classes are scheduled Monday through Thursday each week. Packages are available for Kinderdance, Tap, Modern, Jazz, Ballet & Pointe.

Any student wishing to audition must be in Beg. III Ballet or above and taking all of the recommended number of classes in their placement level. Please pick up and review a copy of the “Company Rules” in the office and check with Ms. Van Dyke for additional details. Dancing as a company member is a year long commitment. Auditions include a written exam and a ballet audition class evaluated by the artistic director.
Each student may bring a maximum of two friends or relatives to observe or participate in class. During this week, any new student wishing to enroll may do so by registering in the main office.
Dance classes will not meet during this time. Enjoy your week-long break!

Van Dyke & Company and the Mahoning Valley Ballet will present a Spring 2023 Dance Showcase. Specific date, location, and time TBA.
Come experience an original work entitled, “Ordnung, the Amish Ballet” by Joan E. Van Dyke in collaboration with licensed psychologist, Tina Lewis and sociologist, Christan Veccaro and award-wining film director Jerry Waltman featuring dancers from the Mahoning Valley Ballet Company and guest artists. The ballet is set to pop music from 1972 and 1982.

Join us for our Spring Dance Showcase at the Sawmill Theater in Cooksburg, PA! The Mahoning Valley Ballet and Van Dyke and Company present "Earth Dances" works celebrating nature featuring, ballet, jazz, modern and tap dances to include, The Beatle Ballet, Woodland and Rose Fairies, Pink Elephants, and much more. Please remember to dress weather appropriate as the theater is not a heated venue. Concession items and 50/50 will be available for purchase.

11:00 a.m. - 3:00 p.m. - Massage Techniques, Stretching for Health, Alexander Sessions, Holistic Herbs, Healing Oils, Posture & Movement.

Saturday, December 4th Performance will be held at 2PM at the Punxsutawney Area Community Center’s Jackson Theater (Dancers will feature the Mahoning Valley Ballet & Van Dyke & Co. students only).
