The faculty of Forest Dancing commit themselves to providing superior education in a supportive environment. We believe that Forest Dancing provides young people with a special opportunity to explore their creative and artistic potential, and nurture their love of dance as an expressive art form. In one special week, Forest Dancers immerse themselves both in the beauty of dance and the beauty of nature, and grow in their love of both.
Our week-long summer program is held during the month of June in quaint Punxsutawney, PA for dancers ages 8 and up. Daily classes are held in ballet, modern, jazz, tap and pointe for qualified students. Students experience exceptional faculty instruction, outdoor activities, crafts, games and lasting friendships. Options for overnight or day-time campers is available. Resident students will stay at the Gardner Mansion. A final performance for family and friends concludes our annual camp.
