VAN DYKE & COMPANY

The Mahoning Valley Ballet was formed to provide the more serious dancers with the opportunity to perform and choreograph throughout the dance season. Van Dyke and Company has performed fifteen complete classical ballets and numerous showcases since 1984.

      In January 2005, the Mahoning Valley Ballet added a new level to the company called the Jr. Company.  The Jr. Company members have a chance to grow and develop into the apprentice program and eventually to a full and senior company member.        

      Auditions for MVB are held annually.  Students who are in Beginners III Ballet or above are eligible. Interested students should pick up a copy of the company rules and check with Ms. Van Dyke for details.
