CLASS ATTIRE

 

Ballet and Character

      

Girls:    Kinderdance - wear pink (left) and blue (right) sock.

Black leotards (traditional cut),  pink tights and pink ballet shoes.

 

Intermediate I Ballet or above - solid color leotard, pink tights and pink ballet shoes.

 

Pointe classes - coordinating demi-skirts optional.

 

Boys:  Black or grey tights, white t-shirt and black ballet shoes.

 

* Extra clothing is not necessary and restricts movement and proper placement.

 

Tap and Jazz - Any color leotard and tights, unitard or jazz pants with crop top.  White or black jazz shoes, sandasols or black tap shoes.

 

Modern - Footless Solotard.

Hair - Girls hair must be pulled back away from face and off shoulders in bun. All bangs neatly pinned or sprayed back.

ATTENDANCE - If a student must miss a class, please notify us prior to the absence and that will be recognized as an excused absence. Any excused absence must be made up in the same or lower level class within four weeks of the absence. Any unexcused absence is considered a forfeited class.

      

CLASS CANCELLATIONS - will be announced on the local radio station: FM 104.1 WPXZ

 

ADDITIONAL NOTES

 

* Arrive at least 10 minutes before class to warm up.

 

* It is very important to attend all classes at each level because class curriculum is structured progressively. Attendance is es­sential to the dedication and discipline leading to excellence.

 

* Class placement is decided by the instructors, not by the parent or student, and is made in the best interest
